A project set by Shillington College which required a homepage design for an example company which offers streaming television programmes online.

This design brief was very clear about the target audience and also emphasised the importance of using the correct colours and fonts according to the company's predefined design guidelines. The main challenge was to display all the data required in an accessible, appealing way without the page appearing cluttered or disorganised. It was essential that none of the vital page features (log in area, featured programme area, etc) be hard for users to find. The implementation of a strong visual hierarchy, therefore, ensures that each section gets an appropriate amount of attention.
